Magnum Imports NZ Limited is owned and operated by Wayne and Ainsley Chapman. It began in 1997, centered around Wayne’s interest in firearms, shooting and hunting, as well as a wider interest in the outdoors (tramping, fishing, 4wding etc).The business grew out of Waynes passion for firearms and reloading, and his general interests in the outdoors.

TIn April 2014 Wayne and Ainsley purchased the Upper Hutt Gunshop, and consolidated there Magnum Imports  business into it.

The Upper Hutt Gunshop had been operating since 1987 from Montgomery crescent, Upper Hutt. It has always offered a full range of shooting products and services, catering for hunters, pistol and rifle target shooters and collectors, with a special focus on Black Powder

 In December 2015 they have moved to new shop at 2 Geange st, Upper Hutt.

Since those initial early days we have gradually extended the product range to include other "outdoors"  products (such as the sporting dog gear) and are always looking to extend it further.

We specialise in finding obscure items, so feel free to ask for anything you can't find here.
